Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated July 23, 2026
Here's exactly how cancellations and refunds work at LiveStreamPro: no surprises, no fine print. This policy is part of our Terms of Service and is effective as of the date shown above; it is being finalized with our legal counsel.
1. The short version
Every LiveStreamPro plan starts with a free trial, so you can try the real product on your real shows before you ever pay. The trial is your evaluation period. Once you're on a paid plan, subscription charges are billed in advance through Stripe and are not automatically refundable. You can cancel any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you've already paid for, so you keep access until then and are never charged again after that. If a charge itself was wrong (a duplicate, a charge after you'd already cancelled, or the wrong amount), tell us within 60 days and we'll fix it. Beyond that, if something else genuinely went wrong, contact us; we look at it case by case and can issue a goodwill refund at our discretion.
2. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel whenever you like. Cancelling is at least as easy as signing up:
- Cancel yourself from your billing settings in the app, or contact us and we'll do it for you.
- Your cancellation stops the next renewal. It takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
- You keep full access until that date. We don't cut you off early.
- Because plans are billed monthly in advance and you keep the access you paid for, we don't prorate or credit the unused part of a period when you cancel mid-cycle.
3. Billing errors we'll always fix
If the charge itself was wrong, we fix it, no argument. Contact us within 60 days of the charge and we'll refund:
- Duplicate charges: you were billed twice for the same period.
- Charges after a confirmed cancellation: you cancelled and were still charged for the next period.
- Wrong-amount charges: you were billed more than the price you agreed to.
The 60-day window lets us look into what happened while the records are still fresh. It's also how we investigate a card-network dispute, so please talk to us before filing a chargeback (see below).
4. What's not automatically refundable
Every plan includes a free trial, so we expect you to have evaluated LiveStreamPro before you ever paid. Outside of the billing errors above, we don't automatically refund:
- Subscription fees for the current billing period once it's underway (you keep access through the end of it).
- Fees for past billing periods you've already used.
- The unused portion of a period after a mid-cycle cancellation. We don't prorate, and you keep access until the period ends.
- A charge you simply changed your mind about after paying. That's exactly what the free trial is for.
Nothing here limits any refund right you have under the consumer-protection law where you live. If your local law entitles you to more, that wins.
5. When something else genuinely goes wrong
Outside of the billing errors above, we don't promise refunds, but we're not rigid about it either. If you believe something went seriously wrong (for example, an extended outage or a defect on our side stopped you from using what you paid for), contact us and tell us what happened. We review these case by case, and at our discretion we can issue a goodwill refund. This is a discretionary courtesy, not a standing entitlement or a guarantee, but we do look at every genuine case fairly.
6. How to request a refund
It's simple:
- For a billing error, contact us within 60 days of the charge; for anything else, reach out as soon as you can.
- Tell us the email on your account and the date and amount of the charge, so we can find it quickly.
- Let us know briefly what happened: a duplicate charge, a charge after cancellation, a wrong amount, or something else that went wrong.
7. How fast we respond & how you get the money
We aim to reply to every refund request within 3 business days. Once a refund is approved, we send it back to your original payment method through Stripe; depending on your bank, it typically appears within 5–10 business days.
8. Before you file a chargeback
If a charge looks wrong, please talk to us first. We can almost always resolve it faster than your bank (including issuing a refund you're owed), and it saves everyone the dispute process.
When you file a chargeback for a charge you authorized and a service you used, we treat it as a payment dispute under our Terms of Service. We keep the records needed to respond (your billing history, sign-in and usage logs, cancellation records, this policy as shown to you before purchase, and our correspondence), and we may share them with your bank or card network as evidence. While a dispute is open, we may pause your account until it's resolved. Contacting us first is faster, friendlier, and almost always gets you the same result.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. When we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top. The version in effect when you were charged is the one that applies to that charge.
