Sign in with Google, Apple, and other accounts

If you'd rather not create another password, you can use an account you already have. On the sign-in or sign-up screen, look for the row of "continue with" buttons and choose one: Google, GitHub, Microsoft, Apple, Facebook, X, or TikTok. You'll see the ones that are available to you.

Here's what happens. You pick a provider, approve the connection in the window that opens, and you're signed in right away. There's no separate email to confirm — signing in this way verifies your address for you.

The first time you use it, I'll create your account and ask you to name your workspace, so your shows and settings have a home. After that, just tap the same button whenever you come back and you'll go straight in.

A few good-to-knows. Use the same provider each time so you land in the same account. Your name and email come from the account you chose, and you can adjust your details later in settings. If a window asks you to allow the connection, that's expected — it's how the provider confirms it's really you.

Question 2

Connect your Whatnot account

To bring your Whatnot shows into LivestreamPro, I need a secure connection to your Whatnot account. This uses our browser extension, and the setup screen walks you through it in three short steps.

First, install the LivestreamPro browser extension. There's a button on the setup page that takes you to the Chrome Web Store — add it to your browser, and I'll connect it to your LivestreamPro account for you. The page notices the moment it's installed.

Next, sign in to Whatnot. Open whatnot.com in the same browser and log in the way you normally would. Once you're signed in there, I'll spot your account automatically — you don't have to copy anything over.

Last, link your account. I'll show the Whatnot account (or accounts) I found, and you choose which one to connect. If you run more than one, you can link several. Linked the wrong one? Remove it and re-link any time — your synced history stays.

When all three steps show a checkmark, select Continue. Next I'll pull in your past shows and sales (see "Sync your Whatnot history").

One tip: keep a Whatnot tab open in the same browser during setup, so the extension can reach your account.

Question 3

Pick an app and start your free trial

Once you're signed in, you'll land in the app store, where you choose what you want to use. Each app adds a set of tools to your workspace, and you turn on only the ones you need.

To get started, open the app you're interested in to see what it does, then start its free trial. That unlocks the app for your workspace so you can begin using it right away. A few apps switch on automatically, so you may find you already have access to one or two without doing anything.

Starting a trial only unlocks that one app — it doesn't sign you up for everything — and you can come back to the store any time to add more.

If you chose the Whatnot app, there's one more step to connect it to your Whatnot account before the tools can work for you (see "Connect your Whatnot account"). Most other apps are ready the moment you subscribe, with no extra setup.

Take a look around, start with the app that matches what you sell, and remember you can always add others later.

Question 4

Sync your Whatnot history

With your account connected, I'll import your Whatnot history so your dashboard has real numbers from day one instead of starting at zero. This is the second step of setup, and it mostly runs on its own.

Here's what I bring in, in order: your past shows, the orders and sales from those shows, and the shipments for those orders — along with the buyers behind them. You'll watch each stage fill in, with live counts so you know it's working.

For this to run, keep a Whatnot tab open in the same browser. The extension does the actual pulling, so if it's asleep I'll ask you to open whatnot.com — the import starts the moment a tab is open. There's nothing to press to kick it off; it begins automatically.

How far back I pull your detailed sales history depends on your plan. Every show is imported; your plan sets how deep the order-by-order detail goes. If your plan doesn't include historical import right now, I'll skip the backfill and tell you — your live shows still record normally from here on.

You don't have to wait for everything to finish. As soon as your shows are counted, select Continue to set up your first show (see "Set up your first show").

Set up your first show

This is the last step, and it's the fun one: choosing what you'd like to happen automatically during your shows. Everything here is optional, and every automation starts turned off — you decide which to switch on.

You'll see a set of cards, each one a helpful moment you can automate. For example, you can thank someone in chat when they tip, welcome a raider, announce a giveaway winner, or print a shipping label when a sale comes in. Open a card to set it up the way you like — the wording, the amounts, the details — then save it to turn it on. Not interested in one? Choose to skip it and move on. You can always change your mind later.

Want to see one in action first? Use "Try it" to preview an automation safely. It runs through your extension, so nothing is posted to your real chat — you'll see exactly what your viewers would. For this preview, have your extension open in a show.

When you've made a choice on each card, select Enter the app to finish setup and open your workspace. That's it — you're ready to go live with your automations working for you.

Go live and run your show

Going live turns your browser into the broadcast booth — no extra software, no capture card. Here's how to get on air and run the show.

Before you start, open Whatnot in the same browser and sign in, and make sure the LivestreamPro extension is connected. When you go live, the extension flips your Whatnot show to live and hands the studio the secure stream credentials it needs to broadcast. The studio reads your real show straight from the open Whatnot tab, so you're always broadcasting to the right stream.

Open the Live Stream studio. You'll see two phone-shaped screens side by side: Program on the left is what you send, and Host view on the right is what your viewers actually see, with a glass-to-glass latency reading so you know your real delay.

To go on air:

In the Program panel, pick your source. Avatar shows a built-in animated presenter; Camera uses your phone or webcam. Tap the flip button to switch between the front and rear camera.
Type your scrolling headline in the text box — it rides along the bottom of your stream.
Hit Go Live. The button reads "Starting…" for a moment, then a red "ON AIR" badge appears. If you're not on a show yet, you'll see a note asking you to open the studio on a live stream first.

Once you're live, the bottom bar is your run-the-show deck. Fire Confetti, Hearts, or Fireworks straight onto the broadcast. Drop a coupon by setting a dollar amount off — anywhere from $1 to $500 — and tapping Drop coupon; it creates a real, live coupon for this show and shows you the code. Coupons only work once you're actually live.

The Host view side lets you push your next product to screen with Run next item, and the panels around it track your viewers and live show stats — Gross, bids, and sold. Rearrange those panels by docking them, floating them over the video, or popping them into their own window.

When you're done, hit Stop to end the broadcast.

If your machine has no microphone, you'll still go live — just video-only. Any error shows up right on the panel, never as a popup.

Find products with AI Vision search

This lets you point a photo at a product and get it identified and searched in one step — no typing a name you're not sure of.

Find it in Product Finder. In the search bar, tap the camera button, then take a photo or pick one from your device. Use a JPEG, PNG, GIF, or WebP under 8 MB, and pick the category you're shopping in first — like trading cards or sneakers — so the search hits the right sources.

It runs in two stages, and you'll see each one in the progress strip:

Identifying — the AI looks at your photo and works out what the product is: its name, brand, category, a rough market value, and the condition it can see.
Searching — it drops what it found into the search box as a text query and runs your normal product search across your configured sources, like Keepa.

Because the identified query lands right in the search box, you can see exactly what's being searched. If the AI read it wrong, edit the text and press Enter to search again. If it can't make out a product at all, you'll get a clear note to try a closer, clearer shot — or just type what it is.

A couple of things worth knowing. The same photo is remembered for seven days, so searching the same image again comes back instantly and doesn't cost another lookup. And the query is kept clean — if the name already includes the brand, it won't repeat it, so you'll never search "Rubik's Rubik's Cube."

You'll need to be signed in, since image identification is metered to your account.

Trouble signing in

Sign-in not working? The page tells you what went wrong right under the form — here's what each message means and what to do.

"Invalid email or password." The email or password didn't match. Retype them carefully — check for caps lock and a stray space. If the password just won't come to you, see "Reset a forgotten password."

Too many wrong tries in a row. After several failed attempts an account is locked for a short while to block guessing. Wait a few minutes, then try again — or reset your password so you're sure of it.

"Verify your email." Your account exists but the email address hasn't been confirmed yet, so sign-in is held. Use the Resend verification option on the error, then open the link in your inbox. See "Verify your email" for the full walkthrough.

"This account uses social login." You created this account with Google, Apple, or another provider, so there's no password to type. Use the matching provider button instead — see "Sign in with Google, Apple, and other accounts."

Account suspended, deactivated, or access revoked. These mean an administrator changed your access. The page will point you to contact support, who can sort it out.

Organization pending approval. Your workspace hasn't been approved yet. This clears on its own once it's reviewed — try again a little later.

"Access blocked." Sign-in was blocked from your current network. Contact support so they can look into it.

Trouble with a provider button. If a Google or Apple window closed without finishing, just tap the button and try again. If you already have a password account with the same email, we'll ask you to confirm your password once to link the provider. And if it's a brand-new email, you'll finish a short signup — name your organization and accept the terms — before you're in.

A 2FA code won't work. Codes expire quickly, so request a fresh one and enter it promptly; make sure your authenticator app is the one you set up. If you can't get a code at all, enter one of your backup codes instead. More on this in "Set up two-factor authentication."
