AI at LiveStreamPro
Last updated October 13, 2026
LiveStreamPro uses AI in a number of places. This page says where, which companies do the work, what is kept, and how to reach a person.
1. Lia is an AI
Lia is an AI assistant, not a person. Her voice and face are AI-generated. She is the same assistant on this site and inside the app, and wherever she appears a line under the box you type in says so.
Ask her whether she is an AI and she will tell you that she is.
2. Talking to Lia on this site
Before your first message, Lia shows a short notice and waits for you to press Start chatting. Nothing you type or say is sent anywhere before that.
- What you type is sent to Anthropic to write her answers. If you talk to her, your voice goes to OpenAI. When she speaks, ElevenLabs makes her voice and LiveAvatar her video, from her words and not yours.
- We do not save typed chats as conversations; the start of each question stays in our service logs for 30 days. We do save the transcript of a voice call.
The privacy policy covers the rest of what this site collects.
3. Where AI is used in the product
- Lia, the assistant. Answers questions about your shows, orders and buyers from your own data, finds help articles, and suggests values for the form in front of you. She schedules a show only after you confirm it.
- Coaching during a show. While a Whatnot show is live, a short line of advice based on the bids, viewers and sales so far.
- Show recaps and briefings. A written summary after a show, and daily and weekly summaries of the business.
- Scores and warnings. Buyers likely to stop buying, lead and deal scores, a profile of a customer, and unusual changes in your numbers.
- Search and drafting tools. Search in plain language, an email draft you copy and send yourself, matching the columns of a supplier manifest, and naming a product from a photo.
- Show transcription. Off unless you switch it on. The extension records the sound of your show and it is turned into a written transcript.
- The support desk. Sorting and summarising tickets and drafting replies for an agent to review. A seller can also switch on automatic answers, which are sent without an agent reading them first; each one ends by saying that an AI assistant wrote it and that a reply reaches a person.
Two things look automatic and are not written by AI:
- The live tips beside the console chart are rules worked out from your show’s numbers.
- Automation messages (an announcement in chat, a private message, a coupon, an email) send the words you typed into the rule.
4. How AI content is marked
In the app, a screen that shows text an AI wrote carries an AI-generated mark. A draft an AI wrote for you to edit is marked AI-assisted draft, and what you send after reading it is yours. Press the mark and it says what it means.
5. Who processes what
| Company | What it does for us | What reaches it |
|---|---|---|
| Anthropic | Writes the text: Lia’s answers and the summaries, coaching, scores and drafts listed on this page. | What you type to Lia, and the parts of your own account (sales, shows, orders, tickets) needed to answer the question or write the summary. |
| OpenAI | Carries a voice call with Lia, turns spoken commands in the extension into text, and writes the transcript of a show when you have switched show transcription on. | What you say during a call or a voice command, Lia’s side of the call, and the audio of a show you chose to have transcribed. |
| ElevenLabs | Gives Lia’s written answers a voice when she speaks them. | The words Lia says. It does not receive what you type or say. |
| LiveAvatar | Generates Lia’s face on video. | The video session your browser opens with it, and the sound of what Lia says. It does not receive your microphone. |
| HeyGen | Makes help videos with a generated presenter, and hosts Lia’s still picture. | The script we wrote for the video. Your browser loads her picture from its file host once you have started her. |
| Cloudflare | Checks that a visitor to this site is a real browser before Lia answers (Turnstile). | The security check your browser runs. It does not receive your messages. |
6. Turning AI features off
In the app, the AI settings page lists each AI feature with its own switch. Automatic support answers are off unless you switch them on.
7. Reaching a person
You can always contact our team. In support chat, Talk to a person puts you in the queue for one.
